Key Skills and Why They Matter

Objective: Learn how your brain works and grows.

Why Skill Building Matters

Skill-building is how we grow stronger—mentally, emotionally, and physically. Just like leveling up in a game, it takes time, practice, and feedback. But every time you build a skill, you’re also shaping your brain and body. According to the Centre on the Developing Child at Harvard University, these skills help us manage stress, make decisions, and stay healthy for life. You can start small. Practice a skill. Reflect. Try again. That’s how real growth happens.
